Wind's Family Page
1947-1992
This page is dedicated to my dad. He was born on May 18, 1947. He had a cerebral
aneurysm or a bubbling blood vessel in his brain that burst on December 5, 1992. Doctors tried to do what they could in
surgery, but there wasn't much that could be done. He died shortly after that on December
14, 1992. I miss him a lot. My life has not been the same since. The only comfort I have is
knowing I will see him again someday. He knew the importance of family. I can only hope I will
be as good as he was. Below are pictures of the loved ones he left behind, my family. I don't
know what I could've done without them.
From left to right: my sister (we call her Nene), Kathy, Lyn Lyn, Joy Joy, Kristy, James,
Mark, and me. This is one of my favorite old pictures. It was taken at my house so very long
ago. I don't even know how long ago this picture was taken. I do remember how shy everyone was
then. I'm so glad we're closer now than we once were. We've had time to bond.
In front from L to R are my cousins, Ryan, Estella, and CJ, and in back is my sister Nene and
me. We're all so young in this picture that it cracks me up. I think this picture was taken
somewhere in San Diego, but I'm not too sure about that.
Whether, they're being serious, or joking around, my two cousins CJ and
Ryan are cute in these pictures. They're like brothers to each other, and like little brothers
to me. I have fun playing pool or video games with them. We can go for hours (when we don't
have homework). Right guys?
This is a picture of my cousins, James, Mark, and the twins, Kristy & Kathy at my high school
graduation party. Sorry for cutting you off in the picture, James. Believe it or not, Mark is
the oldest in this picture. Kathy looks like she ate too much. I don't remember if she hurled
or not. I don't think she did, because I'd remember that kind of an event.
On the right is Kimmy, the younger sister of the twins in the picture above. She barely got up
on that chair because she's so small. Isn't she a cutie? It was so nice of her to go to my
graduation that you know I'd never miss hers, hence the next picture.
So here I am, years later, at Kimmy's Junior High Graduation. She's not so small now, but she's
still a cutie. You can bet that I'll be at her high school graduation. When is that anyway?
Hmmm, I better find out!
This area is still under construction as many of my family members are reluctant
about me putting their beautiful faces on a public area we know as the "web." The above picture, though, is one of me and my cousin, Jennie Kwan. She is on a sitcom called, "California Dreams," which airs on NBC. Below is a little list of the work she has done. She has her picture everywhere anyway, so I know she won't mind, right, Jennie? Maybe you'll see more pictures later if I can twist a couple arms. Who knows! Check back! Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to. I won't mind.
